i will try to get active in blogging again during this holiday, i've been so busy lately watching movies, no i haven't watch new moon but here's a picture that i like from that movie

CrunchBang Linux

CrunchBang, with Openbox desktop, Conky system monitor top right and Rhythmbox top left.

crazy shit, so light, so fast, i love the Openbox, i love the Conky, but it is just too advanced for me, i would love to learn moar about it but since i'm not the only one using this pc, I'm going to move to Ubuntu 9.10 real soon..

Pros:

Really Light,
Highly Customisable,
Minimalist,
Can run Counter-Strike on WinE,
Fun

Cons:

Complex,

Final Words:
i would not recommend this OS for Linux first-timer, it may be based on Ubuntu, but the only advantage to that is that it can run what Ubuntu can, and #! itself is very different than Ubuntu.
if i'm the only one using this pc, i wouldn't mind using this OS for another few months(till the next update which comes every 6 months), but for my siblings, this OS is just too complicated, for instance, i have to run programs by typing it's name. For me that's cool, but for them, it's complicated.
So, #! is cool and all, but still, no beans.

for days now, my house had no internet since the lightning storm, it was strange though only lightning for half an hour before there was actually any rain falling.

anyway, now i'm going to reformat my PC, and change the OS from winXP to Crunchbang.

after Crunchbang, I'll be moving to Ubuntu 9.10 then to Win7, hopefully by then, Win7 issues with my GFX 5200 card is resolved.

sorry no picture since this pc is literally void of any personal img and mp3 and vids.
