I was sleeping today (21.12.08) and had an epiphany
(yes i learned that word from watching The Simpsons Movie, WE DO LEARN SOMETHING FROM WATCHING CARTOONS!! HAHAHAHA).
I was dreaming i was at a house or some sort and it was a sunny day. In that house, there's a lot of people and we were having a good time just talking to each other. It was very noisy but it was very calming in the same time and suddenly a kite flew into the house from the big sliding door on my left that leads to the front lawn of the house and a guy with his bike rode his bike onto the front of the house and claims the kite is his and he said that he lost control of it while playing it. So things get a little blurry after that like any dreams should be then another kite came to the house but instead of coming in.. it just hit the transparent sliding door. I noticed no one is claiming it and it was very beautiful so i went out and take a hold on the kite. I look at it as the sun glared from the side of it and i flew the kite so high and it made me wonder.. *epiphany starts here haha* This kite.. Its so beautiful, the craftsmanship is excellent and it must've made the original owner very proud to ever create such a kite. And out of the blue.. i started to compare loving with making and flying the kite. like the kite, we start from like tiny parts and starts building it into something magnificent that can fly high into the sky soaring like an eagle but in the same time, you'll need just the right gentle touch to fly it and just the right control to keep it upright. In times, other kite will come and challenge your kite but if you serve your kite right, you'll know what to do. and when the time comes, the string attached to it will snap and your kite will fly aimlessly until it you found it again or your kite found a new owner. well, as you can see im not good with words but if you take a second and ponder to what im trying to say.. it does makes sense.
Maybe.. im gonna make myself a kite one day and fly it high up into the sky.. maybe then i'll know how it feels to love.
AHAHAHA APAAN
