it was about 5:01PM today, i was getting ready to pick up my best-friend from his workplace when it happened. My phone rang, it was an unknown number, but things like this often happens to me,
One time I even greet an unknown number with a 'mushi-mushi' and strangely the guy on the other line greeted me back with a 'mushi-mushi'. And if the caller is a babbling chinese guy, it's often guys who wrongly dialed my number and this chinese guy starts babling some name, "AH CHONG ah? AH CHONG ah?", i'd reply with ' Ni chuo sum mo? wuo pu xe tau nie" and ends it with a giggle and "Long Number aaaaaa" and he'll be like "nie pu xe ah chong meh?" and i'll be like "pu xe pu xe" and he just ends the call, probably angry and embarrassed since i have his number now.
but today's call was by far the best and weirdest calls i've ever had, I'm no stranger to prank calls, long time ago a friend of mine pranked me by asking me if he could publish some of my comics, which was badly drawn by the way and i've been on guard ever since. And to be honest, this call, i don't know, it just caught me of guard.
it started with a silent moment, i said hello
then a song can be heard at the background,
it was so clear, "i tried to say goodbye and i choked~";
given the circumstances this could've been alot more scarier if my rooms darken
i said hello again, breathing can be heard on the other line.;
the whole duration of this call, i was not scared, rather excited, like i was in a movie or something.
then the song keeps on playing, along with the breathing sound.
after a moment of just enjoying the song, i said hello again, and the phone was noticeable brought away from the speaker and now i can hear the breathing sound more profoundly.
song still playing at the background though, just alot quieter.
then i was thinking, should i just leave it so i could finish this person's credit or should i just hang up. i mean, i can't even hear the song anymore and i really needed to go to the toilet.
and i hung up.
it's just wasn't worth the wait.
